WIP Wednesday - July 23rd

http://www.freshlypieced.com/

I know there is technically no WIP today but darnnit I am sharing anyway because for the first time in weeks I actually did something... and it's still summer even! lol

I joined the Tessellation SAL from Sew Sweetness, using the gorgeous Tessellation pattern from Allison Glass. This is my second pattern from her and I absolutely love her patterns!

So far we cut out the triangles for triangle A for week 1

I really need a different sewing table because this gray background messes with my photos! Its the purple pack of FQs from Kona. I believe its called Purple People Eater.

For week 2 we are assembling the B triangles. I am half way done with them, they each need two more fabrics.

I have also been working on my Quilty Stitches stitch along, and I am loving the progress!

So, I am off now. I want to finish these B triangles as the girls and I will be gone all weekend and I want to stay on time! Happy sewing!

I am also playing along for the first time in

I am a big fan of quilts with triangles, so I am looking forward to following your progress on the Tessellation quilt. Love the colours you chose for your cross stitch piece... especially the barn! Great progress!
